IP Info Script

This script, IPinfo.vbs,  gets IP and network information from a local or remote windows PC.  The results can be copied to your clipboard and look like this;

NIC: MyNicNAME
IP Address: 192.168.0.100
IP Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
MAC Address: 0C:1F:3C:CB:41:8C
DHCP Enabled: True
DHCP Server: 192.168.0.10
DNS Domain: mydom.com
DNS Domain Suffix Search Order:
DNS Enabled For WINS Resolution: False
DNS Server #1: 214.25.52.148
DNS Server #2: 214.25.52.147
DNS Server #3: 192.168.0.1
Domain DNS Registration Enabled: False
Service Name: NETSRV
WINS Enable LMHosts Lookup: True
WINS Host Lookup File:
WINS Primary Server:
WINS Secondary Server:
Last Link Speed: 100 Mbps

Attachment is .txt, rename to .vbs.

Please Note

All the scripts are saved as .txt files. Newer files have a “View Script” button which will let you save or open a script in notepad. For earlier posts, the easiest way to download with IE is to right click on the link and use “Save Target As”. Rename file from Name_ext.txt to Name.ext.
