Clarence Washington, Jr.’s site, Win32Scripting closed last September, and I am embarrassed to say that I failed to notice. I had moved on to posting most of my scripts to my blog, and I Google most of my script questions instead of starting at a particular website.
Clarence’s site was never ad supported, and it had not only vbscripts, but also javascript, PERL and others. Much of what I learned about vbscript came from there, and it was the first site where I participated in a community of administrators interested in scripting. I had a few opportunities to correspond with Clarence over the years, and he was always responsive. His contribution to the scripting community, and Win32Scripting will be missed.
I have some links and changes to make on my website as a result.
