Like most people, I find the Windows 8.x Apps to be mostly useless. But when I installed Office 365 / Outlook 2013 I did expect to see the data from the app appear in the address book. I was wrong. There is not way to use the information there as an address book.
Some time ago I decided to use Google as the primary repository for my contact lists. So I went looking for a program to import my Google contact into Outlook. I found “Go Contact Sync Mob” on SourceForge. This application logs onto your Google Account to get the data. The code is public and therefore publicly scrutinized. I trusted it with my contact list, and I recommend that you do, too
